07/05/2012   Wishlist Item/Service!
    On popular demand, the wishlist feature is now available on SWAP!T Zone. If you cannot find any items or services you're looking for, all you have to do is to just add them to your wishlist & wait. Our search engines will keep an eye for you and as soon as any of these items or services become available on the site, it'll send an email alert & SWAP!T Notification to you with the list of matches found!
So go ahead, make a wish!
 
12/27/2011   Points System!
    ANOTHER NEW FEATURE! Besides swapping or buying/selling, we've implemented a point system to make it even easier and more economical to get what you need. All existing users have been given 100 free points, which is about a $10 value, and new signups will also receive 100 points.

Points work much like cash within our site. You can choose to receive points in exchange for your item or service, and then you can use those points to claim something from someone else instead of having to make a direct swap. We will periodically reward points for different milestones achieved such as record number of swaps and birthdays.

If you don't have enough points to claim an item or service, you can buy them at a discounted price that would be cheaper than paying cash for that item or service.

You can find your Points Summary at the bottom of the menu below your picture on your profile page.

    ATTENTION!!! We now officially have a separate way to post your services. Along with the Add Item button on your My 8 to Trade page, you'll now see an Add Service button. Services will be distinguishable from items by their purple instead of light blue header.
 
11/17/2011   Like / Comment on Items!
    Now you can like or comment on items posted on SWAP!T Zone. You can use this feature to share your opinion or ask more questions about the item.
 
9/17/2011   Invite Facebook Friends!
    You can invite your facebook friends to join SWAP!T Zone by going to Search Friends -> Invite Facebook Friends section.
 
8/17/2011   Buy and Sell Items!
    Now you can also buy and sell your items besides swapping them. While adding or editing an item, you'll have a choice to either "Swap Only" or "Swap or Sell". If you choose to "Swap or Sell" then anybody would be able to buy your item right away by clicking on the "Get it Now" option for the selling price you specify. SWAP!T Zone does all financial transactions via PayPal.

    You can use the new Wall posting feature to communicate with your friends and stay current with them.
 
9/03/2011   Zone Creation!
    And we have lift off! "Zones" are now ready and waiting to be created by you. Form a group or join a group of people with which you have something in common such as the school you go to or a favorite hobby. Now it's even easier to find what you're looking for and make a trade. Increase your chances of swapping by developing a targeted network!
